In the meantime, for Apple TV 2 customers, you’re in luck: If you’re running iOS 5.3, you can jailbreak it with some nifty software known as Seas0nPass.

Here’s how it’s done:

1. Navigate to the FireCore website (http://firecore.com/) and download Seas0nPass.

2. Unzip the Seas0nPass software to your Applications directory.

3. Connect your Mac computer to your Apple TV device via a USB Micro Cable.

Popular Cydia Tweaks iOS 8 2015

0

iOS 8 has plenty of useful features, but there’s nothing quite like the tweaking the operating system with Cydia to get exactly what you want out of your iPhone or iPad. Out of the many Cydia tweaks folder iOS 8 that are available, here are a few tweaks and jailbroken apps that are a must have on your iOS device.

  1. CleanLock changes your lock screen from a notification rich environment to one where everything is kept private. If you deal with sensitive data on a work phone or you don’t want prying family to know the details of your private conversations, this is an essential Cydia tweak
  2. Ever send a message to realize that it’s awful and should never go out into the wild. Instead of inventing a time machine to stop yourself from sending the message in the first place, use the StopSend tweak to halt that message in its tracks. Autocorrect won’t make you look like a fool in front of your boss this time
  3. Use multiple social media accounts to keep your personal and professional life separate? It’s a pain to log into each account individually. Slice cuts down on the hassle by allowing you to switch to multiple accounts on different services. The only real concern after you install this Cydia tweak is making sure you’re posting to the right account before the drunken party pictures go up
  4. BackupAZ is a necessary Cydia addition if you spend a lot of time tweaking your jailbroken iOS 8 device. Sometimes a jailbreak tweak or configuration change simply doesn’t work the way you hoped it would. Instead of starting from scratch and losing data or spending time reloading personal files, BackupAZ takes a backup of your Cydia settings and other phone data.
  5. CyDelete makes it a breeze to test out different Cydia tweaks and apps. Instead of going through a somewhat frustrating process to uninstall tweaks you don’t want, CyDelete helps you quickly remove unwanted apps and changes from your system.

Cydia is an excellent way to get the most out of your iOS 8 iPhone or iPad, and it only gets better when you install these tweaks on your system.

0

Apple is widely known for its famous tagline-it just works, which is reflected throughout its entire range of iDevices. However, in recent times, there have been increased incidences of random bugs affecting their overall device user base. One of these bugs commonly found in the iOS 8 platform is the – iPhone cannot connect to iTunes Store – error when users first set up their iPads or iPhones. This article will show you how to troubleshoot and get access to your iTunes store.

Disable and Enable iTunes Parental Controls

This process is effective in reconnecting iPhones users to iTunes store. All you have to do is to launch iTunes then go to the Preferences section from the top menu. Locate the Parental Control tab and uncheck both the access to iTunes Store and the allow access to iTunes U checkboxes. Thereafter quit iTunes and re-launch it. This should send you directly to iTunes U from where you go back to Parental Control and enable access to the iTunes Store. Quit iTunes again and re-launch. This may solve the problem.

Check Your Internet Connection

Check whether other devices are able to connect to the Wi-Fi signal from your current location and can access the internet. If yes then reset the WI-FI router by simply turning it off then on. Thereafter, restart the iPhone and launch iTunes. If your iPhone runs on cellular data then go to Settings, General and head to Cellular to check whether your data is on.

Date and Zone Change

A wrong date or zone can hinder you from accessing iTunes store. To fix this go to Settings then General and head to Date &Time. Once there, change the Set Automatically toggle to ON then exit iTunes and re-launch.

Software Update

Software updates help bring your iPhone up to date with the current platform tweaks. To check whether the software your iPhone runs on is current, go to Settings then General and proceed to Software Update. Make sure your Mac OS X version is updated. The iTunes and Safari should also be in their latest version.

In case you have gone through all these processes and still the – iPhone cannot Connect to iTunes Store – bug appears, you may have to hard-reset your device. You can do this by pressing the home and power button simultaneously until the screen goes blank. Then press the power button again until the Apple logo appears. This should solve your problem.

Mr. Jump Burning Up The iOS Game Market By Being Simple Yet Fun

0

Every so often a game comes along that just burns up the wires. The latest such game is the auto-runner called, very simply and aptly, Mr. Jump. This simple yet almost annoyingly difficult game is experiencing its own kind of jump: a jump up the charts!

In the course of a very short time – namely, a four day period – this new game was downloaded an astounding 5 MILLION times. No, that was not a typo, that is a 5 with 6 zeros in a row behind it. And get this, that may be a conservative estimate, as some sources are claiming that this number is closer to 6 million!

So, what is it about this game that has caught the attention and devotion of such a large number of gamers in such a short time? The answer may lie in its utter simplicity.

The object of the game is utterly basic, the player simply wants Mr. Jump to jump at the right moments, thus avoiding or exploiting certain hazards. The character does the moving all on its own, so all the gamer has to do is tap the screen and hope for the best!

Even though this game is faintly reminiscent of the venerable game, Mario Bros. it just may be more difficult. Oh, it starts out easily enough, with the player getting a couple of practice goes at the beginning. After that, it’s into the water, sink or swim.

With this game, it is very easy to sink. One wrong move, and the player is back to the beginning of the level, given the opportunity to try again.

But it has some pretty nice features. Each level boasts a unique and catchy soundtrack, that can actually provide the player with a little motivation. It is a finite game, but at the moment it offers a decent number of levels to conquer, each with its own unique environment and challenges.

The game is available for free downloads, but players that may be frustrated with a particular level can buy into the next one for $1.99. Not bad.

Mr. Jump is the brainchild of the French programming trio that operates under the company name 1Button. According to team leader Jeremy Francone, they named the company to reflect their commitment to the principles of simplicity and efficiency of the design process. The programmers seem fully committed to pushing the game to new heights, promising to regularly issue new content and features that they believe will keep fans coming back for more.

All in all, Mr. Jump is a surprisingly entertaining game, and its popularity will probably continue to grow in the near future.
