My Card Security

  • The card security program is OPTIONAL and is associated with credit cards issued by the Synchrony Bank

To sign up for the service customers will first have to create an account using their name, zip code, and the last four digits of the card in question (customers with more than one Synchrony Bank credit card account with Card Security protection must register each account and submit each benefit request separately).  The My Card Security program is NOT FREE and will cost $1.66 per $100 of the customers ending monthly balance (i.e. if the account holders ending monthly balance is $500, the fee would be $8.30).

Please note…

  • To be eligible for the unemployment and leave of absence benefits the account holder must be enrolled for at least 30 days in the program
  • The My Card Security program is open to consumers of the age of 18 in any state besides Mississippi
  • When account access has been gained customers can check all history associated with the card account via the “Benefit History” tab
  • Benefit number is not required to see benefit history or status
  • After the customer completes the online enrollment form they will receive a support letter by mail within 3 to 4 days
  • The card security program will pay $50 per form when a Doctors fee is charged

The Card Security Program offers two number in which customers can call for support: 800-815-4051 (Benefit Request questions) and 855-264-9385 to speak with a Technical Support agent.  These toll numbers are not open on Sunday or New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
