Caribou TCPA Settlement

Class members claim that Caribou Coffee Company Inc. violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, 47 U.S.C. § 227 (“TCPA”) as soon as they sent a text message to the customer’s phone without their consent.  Caribou denies any actions of wrong doing in the case but have agreed to settle in order to avoid a trial with an unknown expense and outcome.  Caribou has developed a $8,500,000.00 settlement fund in order to compensate class members who file timely claims.
